Marcy Cheatham

A born-and-raised Athenian, Marcy has enjoyed living in various surrounding counties before moving into her dream home in Jackson county. Mother of nine, Grandmother to one, and the eldest of three sisters, she holds family in the absolute highest regard.

Marcy’s main passions center around making a significant difference in the lives of clients, friends, and family. This also includes a strong devotion to education and supporting individuals with disabilities, which has led her to becoming actively involved in school systems and adult disability programs, and even participating in foster parenting programs, all of which she has found immensely rewarding.

In her spare moments, you’ll find her exploring culinary arts in an apron or lacing up her running shoes with the ultimate goal of completing marathons across all 50 states. Running has become both a personal passion and a symbol of freedom and perseverance for her.

Professionally, she has over a decade of experience in sales which even led to a directorial role in catering sales at one point! Her journey would take an exciting turn in 2018, however, when she discovered her love of real estate; swiftly rising in the ranks to become a broker and, eventually, kickstarting our family-owned real estate brokerage.

Her efforts didn’t go unnoticed as she clinched the Diamond Award in 2022 for real estate sales excellence and she found herself consistently ranking among the top five performers in her brokerage from 2018 to 2021.

My values of loyalty, support, and togetherness resonate deeply with me, shaping both my personal and professional endeavors within real estate.‘ -Marcy Cheatham”

Gracie Farmer

Buying or selling a house is exciting and should be fun! When you have a real estate professional who is dedicated to helping you before, during, and after your transaction, anticipating problems or issues, and working to bring about the best outcomes at every stage, you can focus on what matters to you most – whether that’s finding your dream home, scouting out an ideal investment, or selling a property for top dollar.

As a real estate professional with a passion for helping others, I am thrilled to be your trusted partner in your real estate journey.  In being a member of the Athens area community for 18 years, I bring a wealth of knowledge in the local area beyond the real estate market. My family background in residential construction and home inspections offers the perfect opportunity to meld my passion for real estate with my commitment to Athens and surrounding-area residents.

When I am not running around town, you can find me at home (most likely outside playing along to some great music) with my husband, Javie, and spunky daughter Charlee.

Most importantly, feel free to call or email any time and let me know how I can help you (or those you care about) with any Athens area real estate needs.
